A market with a cause - The Eats ZA social food market in Soshanguve

Imagine if all you had to do to give back to charity was eat, drink and have a good time with your friends..... Sounds crazy right?

Well not exactly, co-founder of The Eats ZA, Kgomotso has made that crazy concept possible. Her partner and The Chill out team host a social food market every month in Soshanguve, Pretoria.

The market offers a really good barbecue style menu, desserts and a cocktail bar. What makes it a great hangout spot is that it takes place in a basketball court with pallet furniture and colorful touches and lively music in the background that make it so youthful. So there's definitely enough space to turn up later on as the day progresses into the evening.

According to Kgomotso, since the market started in June 2018, people have been coming in their numbers to support the initiative. I think this makes it also an opportunity to meet and network with other young people with positive vibes and eagerness to uplift their communities as that is the purpose of The Eats Za, to generate funds for charities and non-profit organizations in Soshanguve.

Put it in your calendar, the next market is happening on the 2nd of March at Baxoxele Basketball court from 12pm with free entrance so grab your mates, dancing kicks and an empty tummy (trust me you're going to want to eat everything).
