A lot of people set new years resolutions or a bunch of things that they want to achieve for the year. And i think we've realized that thinking about the stuff you want to do and actually getting them done is a few planets apart.
Its important to know that 1)It is never to late to start 2)Its okay to start again and again and again. So its fine if you're only tackling your new years resolutions in April 😄 The important thing is to START.
Whether you want to start a business, slay your academics, get that dream job etc... Here are 3 tips to help you follow through on the goal that you have set for your self.
1. Always keep in mind WHY you want to achieve this goal.
Remember why this goal is important to you. Think about the feeling you will get once you achieve this desire. Think about how successfully bringing this dream to life will elevate you to greater heights. Remember why you want it so bad and get it done no matter what, You will thank yourself later.

2. (If you haven't already) Write your main goal down.
Write down your specific goal, it is much easier to reach your destination if you have a plan. A plan that you see and review often.
Think about how difficult it is to go to a place for the very first time without directions, a map or GPS? Chances are you'll get lost (unless you have navigational superpowers like most men claim to have 😁) So write down your main goal and a few steps you have to take in order to achieve it. Put it in a place where you'll see it often, it will come in as major motivation when planning your daily tasks.
3. Work towards your goal!
THE DREAM WON'T WORK UNLESS YOU DO.
You can use a simple daily planner to set a schedule of tasks every day that are building blocks to achieving your main goal. This will help visualize the tasks and time you need to do them as well as keeping track of your progress. Then in the famous Nike slogan, "Just do it"

Seems like 3 easy steps right? Lets be real...there's always procrastination, self-doubt, lack of consistency or fear, getting in the way of achieving your goals.
Here's the key: make the decision to "feel the fear but do it anyway". Its one of the best things you can do to get the ball rolling. Whether you win or lose, you will be gaining either success or a lesson... SOMETHING towards living your best life.
There's about 3 quarters left of the year. Lets make the most of it and get **it done!
Dream. Plan. Do
Repeat.
